Hi everyone, I hope you are well, today we will learn about a great project, Rangers Protocol
-
Hola a todos, espero que estén bien, hoy vamos a conocer un gran proyecto, Rangers Protocol.

Welcome @Nicolas0628, it is a pleasure to have you here with us

Nicolas Zhu

Hi thanks for having me

Rosemary Bianco

How about starting the AMA with the introductory questions?

Nicolas Zhu

Can’t wait!

Rosemary

Q1. Can you provide a brief introduction to the core team behind Rangers Protocol?

Nicolas Zhu

I am Nicolas from Rangers Protocol, and I am the BD head. Let me also introduce our team members.

The Rangers core team has an average of more than ten years of technical development experience, including data security experts from Alibaba, Tmall architecture chief Engineers, and Huawei’s core developers, representing the Engineering capabilities of Asian industries and super-high R&D standards.

At the same time, the leading creative team has been at the top of cryptographic security technology of the Ali Security Department in the early years and has fully mastered the core technology of the blockchain field.
As the core architect of the commercial, public chain, they have entirely implemented the construction and development of the underlying infrastructure.

Rosemary

Great!

Q2. What potential does your native token have and what are its different use cases?

Nicolas Zhu

$RPG will have different application scenarios and valuable gains after circulation in the secondary market.

Application scenarios for $RPG can be:
1. RPG (Rangers Protocol Gas) generates blocks through ecological nodes divided into proposal and verification nodes. Ecological users pay RPG as a deposit and become a proposal node through community voting. Rangers Protocol has designed an RPG stake mechanism. Users need to purchase and stake RPGs to become a verification node.
2. The RPG Foundation will establish communities with different functions, including ecological governance, developer, and token holder communities. The community can use RPG to participate in the governance of Rangers Protocol.
3. Rangers Protocol will launch a sub-chain plan to support developers in releasing isomorphic sub-chains to Rangers Engine. The launch of the sub-chain requires the community to use RPG to vote.
4. Developers developing, distributing, and operating their applications based on Rangers Protocol need to consume RPG as the gas fee.
5. Users need to pay and consume RPG when using applications that have been deployed on Rangers Protocol, such as paying RPG to application developers. When users use Rangers Protocol for cross-chain or transfer, they also need to pay or consume RPG as usage or gas fees.
6. When creators use Rangers Protocol-based tools to publish and edit works and upload them to the blockchain when they carry out marketing activities in decentralized trading markets, auction markets, copyright centers, and other application markets, they also need to pay or consume RPG as usage fees or gas fees.

Rosemary

Surprising, many use cases

Q3. Can you talk a bit about your prospects and how they will benefit from your products and services?

Nicolas Zhu

All community users and developers are our prospects. For users, experiencing products developed based on the rangers protocol can experience high-performance products with meager gas consumption and smoothness as in web 2.0 Experience. For developers, Rangers Protocol will provide a very developer-friendly IDE to lower the developer’s threshold and enable them to deploy dapp quickly.

In addition, MixMarvel, the incubator of Rangers Protocol, will bring more resources to the Rangers ecosystem.

Rosemary

Q4. What is that milestone at Rangers Protocol that you are most proud to achieve?

Nicolas Zhu

At this stage, it should be the mainnet of Rangers Protocol. It is to be launched by the end of the year.

Rosemary

Q5. What plans does Rangers Proctocol have for this 2021?

Nicolas Zhu

The plan for 2021 is to obtain financing, launch testnet, open IDO, and launch the mainnet. At present, we have implemented the first two as planned, and IDO is coming shortly. In the remaining quarter, Rangers Protocol will be fully preparing for the mainnet launch.

Rosemary

That was the last introductory question, now we’ll move on to the second segment, Twitter questions

@Magda25453517

1. I’d like to know what you mean by “lifecycle management” in NFts Rangers, I understand that it is based on data rights management and data reuse, could you explain this a little more in detail?

Nicolas Zhu

Rangers Protocol’s NFT protocol is compatible with EVM and contains historical data of the entire NFT life cycle. Historical data includes transaction, usage, and even cross-chain data of the NFT. These data can be reused and inherited by more decentralized applications in the future, which enhances the value gain of NFT.

@Albe_1602

2. The Rangers Protocol integrates protocols such as ERC-721, and further expands its features, including a new data structure that supports data reuse. What does this new structure look like? How does it work and how does it enable data reuse?

Nicolas Zhu

In terms of structure, the NFT will belong to a specific Dapp within a certain period; each dapp has its own independent data space in the NFT. All dapp data is readable, but only the currently attributable dapp can modify the NFT data corresponding to the dapp.

Regarding how data is reused. First, Rangers Protocol designed the NFT shuttle mechanism so that NFT can belong to another dapp. Second, Rangers Protocol developed a lease mechanism where NFT renters can have use rights but no transaction rights.

@Ksalom95

3. You point out that the Rangers protocol integrates an efficient VRF + BLS consensus mechanism “to solve the problem of high frequency trading”, but what is this problem really? How does high trading frequency affect? And also can only be solved with Rangers?

Nicolas Zhu

The high-frequency trading here refers to the concurrent demand for multiple transactions simultaneously, which requires very high network throughput. If you can’t afford high-frequency transactions, it will cause network congestion and cause gas fees to soar, just like Ethereum in 2018. Rangers Protocol’s VRF+BLS consensus mechanism can accurately solve this problem.

@antonio50221026

4. The project has a very interesting feature and it is your REVM virtual machine compatible with EVM so could you tell me about your REVM virtual machine and what are its main features? What is the compatibility level of your virtual machine?

@Juan31_SB

5. Can you give me more information about your native RPG token? What are the various use cases you have within your platform? How can your investors benefit from it? Is it currently traded on various exchanges?

Nicolas Zhu

For detailed information about $RPG and how investors and users can benefit, you can read the following articles:

Let’s give some examples about the use cases:

Currently, $RPG has not been listed on any exchanges. After the launch of IDO on October 5, we will post the information on the secondary market.

Rosemary

That was our last Twitter question, now we will move on to the last part of this AMA, live session.

@Luis Arias

You say that Rangers Protocol maximizes developer efficiency in complex applications through IDE enhancements, but how will you really do it? Will it be through algorithms, templates and tools that will facilitate the work of developers? If so, what would they be?

Nicolas Zhu

Oh this is technical, so keywords and libraries are like keywords for developers, it saves a lot of their development time.

Also if the short cut is in underlying layers it will also speed up the process for the computer to run the code.

For all technical qustions, please check the following link.

@𝗧 𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮

Do YOU have plan to include staking in your ecosystem ? If yes, When will be the staking program be launch?

Nicolas Zhu

We do have many plans ahead! we will reveal soon!

Please stay tuned to all our official channels, and don’t miss anything!

my Questions

What is the relationship between MixMarvel and Rangers protocol? What role do they play In the development of Rangers protocol?

Nicolas Zhu

Rangers Protocol is a different project from MixMarvel.

Rangers Protocol’s former version, Rocket Protocol, was a layer-2 solution that supported the applications of the MixMarvel ecosystem apps. After years of development and upgrade, Rocket Protocol became Rangers Protocol, an independent blockchain infrastructure.

MixMarvel as a blockchain game publishing platform is more on the application later. On the other had, Rangers Protocol is an infrastructure that provides technical upport.

So they are ecosystems on two different dimensions.

However, Rangers Protocol and MixMarvel will be able to help complete the missing parts of eachother.

@Rosbeli Tovar

Polkadot does not have Smart Contracts, it relies on Blockchains that connect to Polkadot to enable Smart Contracts. How does Rangers Protocol overcome that competitive issue and what kind of improvements do you provide to scalability without sacrificing security?

Nicolas Zhu

Rangers is using a different technical frame — Rangers connector is a secure multi-party computation chain.

Here is the link for the details.

@alberys rodriguez

On their website they inform us that, they integrated an efficient VRF + BLS consensus mechanism to solve the problem of high frequency trading. How effective is this mechanism as opposed to others? What advantages does VRF + BLS bring to your platform?

Nicolas Zhu

very good question!

The consensus mechanism of VRF+BLS mainly adopts random group formation and random signature within the group, ensuring security, stability, and block generation speed. VRF is used primarily to select proposal nodes and verification nodes, which are random and unpredictable; BLS is mainly used for the signature of verification nodes.

This kind of second-level block generation will not cause network congestion but will ensure low gas consumption. It will support more dapps deployed on Rangers Protocol and attract more users to experience the dapps on Rangers Protocol because of the low gas fees.

Rosemary

Thank you Nicolas for your time and repsonder the questions, very solid answers.

Rangers Protocol can realize a high-performance blockchain group with cross-chain contract interoperability among the EVM systems of multiple blockchains.
