P1. Can you provide a brief introduction about the Genius Yield?

I am laurent Bellandi , 43 years old and living in Zurich. I am a serial entrepreneur with an experience of 20 years. When I moved in Zuirch 3 years back, I was astounded by the crypto valley and I started to see the new revolution happenning so I started to learn about the blockchain and crypto world, a friend of mine Remy Baldo ( seed investor of Genius) learned how DeFi works, I started to invest in yield farming but to start from the basics when you are not a crypto guy it’s very hard at the beginning and that’s when we thought why nobody built a platform which is easy to use for the mass adoption?
When Binance smart chain started with the explosion of DeFi projects, I understood that it was the right time to start Something meaningful for the DeFi world and Genius became a reality, we met Charles Azanlekor our CTO and we decided to create a solid international team.
I am Founder and Ceo of Genius Yield.
Blockchain will disrupt the entire economy, and I want to be a part of that and help for a mass adoption.

Coming to the community part, the Genius community has already grown to over 45000 members in just 3 weeks. The community members understand the potential of the protocol and are here for the longer run. In the first step to activate the amount in Genius they offer us three different plans depending on the initial amount that we bet, these are; Starter,VIP and Super Far What are their characteristics and in the higher plans what is the additional flexibility over the lower plans?

Each plan comes with its own unique features and the higher plans offer some additional flexibility over the lower plans.

Currently there are farms with exorbitant yields for example a 4000% APY, really the genius protocol will allow me to invest in these farms and obtain benefits minimizing risks? If so, how would you protect me?

Only the Lps 100% audited by our Crypto security team will available on Genius Protocol. Whatever the APY, we will accept only the farms with a good reputation. Security is our first concern.

Hello Genius Yield focuses on automated farming, you also work integrating Auto-Compound, what are the commissions and maximum APY?

We didn’t define platform fees yet, but 20% of the transaction fees from the platform will be shared with the stakeholders. We are building a fair DAO with low fees and maximum profit.

Yield farming is a popular topic since the origin of DeFi, yet it has never withstood a bear market. What will happen to the yield for $GENS? Will it remain stable? Since Genius Yield is dependent on other yield-farming mechanisms, would that mean its yield decreases as well?

GENS don’t depends to other yield farming. Users have to stake in the lp vault and become the liquidity provider of the platform. As the reward mechanism for the protocols, 20% of the transaction fee collected by the platform will be given to the $GENS holders.Genius will be only the start of an entire DeFi environment and dapps.

Automated yield management feature
The security mechanism of Genius automatically withdraws your assets from an exchange or protocol if there is a sudden fall in the APY of that protocol. Therefore, Genius offers a secured way of optimizing the yield for a user.
The whole process on Genius is automated. Users just have to enter their desired configurations and goals, the underlying algorithm automatically follows the most efficient route to reach those goals in the best possible time. Risk is always there with every asset class, we aim to minimize that risk for the user.
Genius offers three different plans for the users depending upon the initial amount that they stake
Starter, VIP, and Super Farmer — Can be opened by staking its native token $GENS.
Each plan comes with its own unique features and the higher plans offer some additional flexibility over the lower plans.
Each plan provides specific rewards to the users.
Our most advanced features will be release on the V2 , Multichain yield optimizer using Artificial Intelligence (Ethereum, Polkadot, Cardano).

I read that Genius is the mix of an advanced UI with strong, complex algorithms on the backend providing a seamless environment for the DeFi users to earn optimized yield. So, because of how complex it sounds, this made me wonder, will Genius be a new users-friendly platform?

Interface in DeFi is still not that mature and that is what we aim to disrupt. We bring a relatively freindly user interface making it easy for the masses to invest and earn profits from DeFi.
Coming to the part about the various protocols, that is where the true powers of Genius lie. Researching about all protocols, keeping an eye on their technicals and news, identifying which protocol offers the highest APY at a certain time, and shifting between multiple protocols is what the current DeFi ecosystem asks for. On the contrary, Genius just asks for the aim of the user and funds that users have to deposit, rest all is done by the protocol. Easy Peasy.
