Q1. Can you provide a brief introduction to the core team behind BAXE?

Dylan

Hello Everyone, I’m Dylan! I am currently leading Future Currency Group’s BAXE blockchain platform development as the CTO. My experience as a senior technology executive and entrepreneur stretches across fintech, blockchain and enterprise. I have held executive positions as the Chief Product Officer for Red Pulse, the first platform deployed on the Chinese NEO blockchain (second on Binance Smart Chain — almost first) as well as the Chief Technology Officer for Juwai.com, China’s largest real estate portal. In addition to my executive roles, I also oversaw a portfolio of applications as an IBM consultant in Shenzhen, China. Augmenting my professional experience, I am a current MBA candidate with the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School

Hi All, I am James Maher, the CFO of BAXE. After my MBA at Berkeley I worked in financial planning & analysis for a few years then got interested in equity analysis. I completed the CFA program and became a publishing sell-side analyst, then joined a hedge fund. In 2017 I joined my first blockchain company as COO at Red Pulse. I have been with BAXE for one year.

Ben’s 20 year career in advertising and communications spans across extensive executive and agency experience.

He has been positioned at the helm of a wide variety of organisations, from small startups and boutique independent agencies to large multinationals throughout New Zealand, Australia, New York, London, Paris, Singapore & Indonesia.

Enacting powerful transformations within these executive roles, highlights of Ben’s senior management experience have included the roles of CEO of McCann Worldgroup Singapore and Group CEO of Publicis Advertising and Saatchi & Saatchi Indonesia.

As the Asia Pacific Head of Advertiser Marketing at Facebook, Ben spearheaded the digital transformation of global brands and was involved in the cutting edge of business and marketing, witnessing the impact of data-driven innovation. Ben’s experience extends beyond his work within agencies.

As a global thought leader and passionate creative strategist, he has lent his skill set to several boards across the serving as the Singapore Chairman of Effie Worldwide, an executive council member of the Institute of Advertising Singapore and board advisor for the not-for-profit organisation, Keep New Zealand Beautiful.

In addition to Bwn’s numerous years of experience within advertising and communication, he also holds a Bachelor of Design from the Unitech Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Advertising Creativity from the Auckland University of Technology.

I had a friend pushing me to buy Bitcoin when its was $8, I said I wanted to mine it. He said it was too late, too many people in the game already. I just bought some S19 miners last month

After I moved to Shanghai, back in 2017 I joined Dylan at the first project on the NEO blockchain.

I was “too smart” to invest in BTC years ago from all the traditional finance training…

But I learned.

Wow, you knew about it and it was still pretty early on, I hope you still hold those bitcoins if you bought them back then

Now, please, tell us more about BAXE, what is all about? What is your mission?

BAXE is an integrated value exchange and communications platform built on decentralised blockchain technology. Therefore, we can offer a seamless and easy to use solution for communications, e-commerce and digital assets — all in one place. BAXE offers exceptional privacy with biometric identity features and the security of knowing that we will not sell user data.

The BAXE project was conceived a couple of years ago and is the worlds first, blockchain-based super app. The ecosystem has been bootstrapped with three pillars laying the foundation — a lifestyle pillar, an e-commerce pillar and an embedded finance pillar.

We saw the power of WeChat in China and wanted to bring that to the rest of the world.

Now! Q2. What potential does your native token have and what are its different use cases?

The BAXE Stablecoin is the lifeblood of the ecosystem; it facilitates instantaneous transactions in a low-to-no fee environment

Our ERC20 token — the BAXE Market Coin (BMC) — sits outside the ecosystem and complements it, giving holders a share of merchant fees accrued on the app

The BMC token will be available on both centralised and decentralised exchanges (e.g. Uniswap)

Our platform is aimed at the mass market and is beginner-friendly

Baxe is seeking to abstract away all the underlying complexity of the blockchain and other technologies and make it easy for users to interact within a blockchain ecology

When we talk about how valuable community is, we think it’s everything

Communities are the sum of its membership and contributions

One of the longer term projects is our low code rapid development platform SDK. The community will be able to determine where BAXE will eventually lead through the ability to drag and drop creation of applications and integrations.

Q5. What plans does BAXE have for this 2022?

1. We are working on the first iteration, our MVP. This lays the groundwork and foundations for the app
2. Then will further strengthen this with our second iteration, which involves P2P payments, banking connectivity, ERC20 token, digital identity
3. Then we will build out our ecosystem with disaster recovery, biometrics and AML
4. Lastly, we will bring some of the top players in crypto all together with marketplaces, integrations, an exchange and global remittances

BAXE App is compatible with IOS/ Android mobile devices, but in the future will it be compatible with other devices? Is NFT also implemented in your App? Is KYC required to use the BAXE App?

• Our goal for the BAXE app is to make it available to as many users as possible. We can’t Take Back the Internet with mobile devices alone! We are currently developing a web portal and once we launch, BAXE will be compatible with all web browsers on both desktop PCs and Macs.

• Non fungible tokens are a crucial element of emerging web3 technologies. The ability to buy, sell and securely hold NFTs puts users in control of the assets they create and exchange online. This is why we want to give BAXE users the ability to mint their own NFTs as well as trade their creations through our internal NFT marketplace. This will be implemented sometime following our launch.

• The lifestyle aspects of the app don’t require any KYC so you are free to chat, browse, video, stream and share as much as you like! For the financial features of the app such as payments, banking, investing, crypto and NFTs, there are certain levels of KYC that will need to be met.

As I know this project is relatively new, you’re just getting started. Can you tell us about the progress you have made so far? What has been the most important update of the moment and what are you currently focused on?

• We have made a lot of progress over the last six months. Our app is now reaching the final stages of the alpha launch and will soon go live to the public. Our partnership with ConsenSys is nearing deployment, enabling our blockchain capabilities. This will be closely be followed by our EMI application, providing a bridge between cryptocurrency and traditional finance.

• We have made a lot of progress in developing our brand and voice with the rollout of our animated explainer videos and product overviews.

• Our community is growing every day and we have some exciting news coming soon on our bounty campaign. This will give members of our community an opportunity to get their hands on some BMC tokens prior to launch. • We will also be establishing our office in Singapore to access greater opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

- As I could read inside Baxe we will have the possibility to acquire a debit card with which we will be able to spend in BAXE stablecoin (BSC), however, does this mean that the place where we buy must accept BSC or we can buy in any place that accepts Visa or MasterCard?

BAXE offers users a virtual debit card which can be used anywhere that a debit card is accepted, like restaurants and retail stores. For crypto purchases, users can deposit money into their BAXE wallets and then use their funds.
